M&E Project Engineer (Building Services)
As M&E Project Engineer (Building Services) you will be responsible for managing building services maintenance and project management of minor works at all Translink Group sites. The role will oversee the delivery of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance (RM) and Minor Works. The role will include contract management of various external suppliers/contractors, procuring new contracts and administration of contacts and liaison with all levels of Operations. Translink is Northern Ireland main public transport provider with a strategy to maintain and grow passenger and network capacity, with plans to introduce higher speed service, track upgrades, station refurbs and new builds, refurbishment of trains and upgrade ticketing systems. As the successful M&E Project Engineer (Building Services) your new role will include but not be limited to the following: * Provide contract management support and ensure contracts are being administered correctly and that performance, Health & Safety and financial spend are being effectively monitored and recorded. * Provide technical support to the Property Department to ensure building assets are correctly and efficiently maintained. * Specify and inspect works during construction. This includes producing drawings and detail specifications and also, from time to time, acting as Site Supervisor whilst on site. * Prepare condition surveys and plan future work packages and seek funding for minor projects via economic appraisals and Capital funding. * Assist the Property Department with the ongoing contract renewal and new contract formations (PQQs, Specifications, tenders, moderation meeting debriefs, contract awards etc).
