The School

Hays Education are working with an Ofsted rated 'Good' North West Leicestershire academised school, who are currently seeking an outstanding, creative, enthusiastic and innovative English teacher to start as soon as possible.

The college believe that their academy status provides them with greater freedom to innovate and raise standards. They use their ability to adapt national curriculum to personalise the learning to meet the needs of their students. This personalisation ensures high quality outcomes in terms of the skills, knowledge, understanding and experiences through a curriculum that has breadth, depth and clear preparation for the rigours of GCSE and post-16 education.

This school believe that the best possible education is based upon a clear focus upon three essential aspects - ensuring that core skills and values are embedded in their students; nurturing partnerships with parents and the community; and creating a wide range of opportunities to encourage exploration. The partnership between the school and the community mean that students are surrounded by the culture of life-long learning.

Applications will be considered from both NQT's and experienced teachers who have a background in teaching English at both KS4 and KS5.

Additional benefits

In return, you will get a personal service with your own consultant that provides advice and support. You will receive weekly pay at competitive rates, holiday pay and a pension scheme. Hays Education also offer a Refer-A-Friend Scheme worth £250 in high street vouchers! There is also CPD for all working candidates with access to over 100 training courses.
