Job Purpose:
Our client based in Leicestershire are looking for a Marketing Executive to contribute to the success, growth and development for them by supporting the development of the brand and assisting and delivering marketing campaigns. This includes general support and assistance to the wider Marketing Team.

Our client are looking for an individual who values creativity and organisation alike! The ideal candidate will have an interest in all things marketing - from websites and social media to press releases and blog writing - plus they will embrace all the inevitable administrative tasks that go with it.

The candidate will support and assist in updating the marketing plans for our client and sister brand helping with the research, planning and delivery of all tactical promotional activities. These include website and social media content research and creation, general marketing copywriting, public relations and media liaison, competitor analysis and reporting, case study research and creation, digital ad campaigns and much much more!

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills (these two are non-negotiable based on the levels of interaction), a good working knowledge of PowerPoint and other Microsoft applications and a natural knowledge and enthusiasm for business to business marketing. Experience in InDesign, CRM systems, WordPress is preferred but not essential, and the ability to work within tight internal and external deadlines and prioritise and manage their own workload.

A creative thinker who's keen to bring solutions, strategy and ideas to the department and with organisational / project management skills that are second to none.

Key Responsibilities:
Implement and update the marketing plan regularly, assisting with research, planning and delivery of the associated activity.
Execute on marketing tactics and activity to include disciplines such as: advertising, public relations, internal communications, coordination of case studies and award submissions, research, brand development, social media and online activity.
Public and media relations support to include building and maintaining relationships with media, responding to media inquiries, drive publishing process of internal and external press releases to include research, copy writing with an eye for detail and focus on creative writing.
Effective interaction with other departments within the business to support their marketing needs as well as requesting information and the curation of content to support the businesses marketing activity
Manage conference and trade show participation to include compilation and analysis of potential events, speaking/sponsorship opportunities and market visibility. Coordinate logistical details for participation, including registration, exhibit properties, collateral materials, etc.
Content creation for use externally, on the website and internal communications. Examples include company-wide emails, news stories, press releases and presentations
Liaise with Creative Services to support the creation of marketing collateral including idea generation and briefing
Assist with the delivery of statistical data to support our business requirements. This includes evaluation and reporting on campaign and marketing department activity. Research into competitors and industry analysis
Provide general administrative support to the Marketing Team
Maintain administration and relevant reporting systems including inputting, maintenance and report generating of our Customer Relationship Management System. Training will be provided
Attend briefing meetings and brainstorming sessions if, when and where appropriate attendance and contribution at team meetings
Liaising with the wider divisional marketing team to collaborate and share best practice by attending meetings and participating in calls
Working to and within the company brand guidelines as well as the wider divisional guidelines
Content research, creation and scheduling for social media posts
Performing various tasks within marketing automation software and utilise systems as needed

Qualification/Skill Requirements:
To display excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly areas relating to spelling, grammar and punctuation
Experience with content creation, including news stories, press releases, blogs and social media content
Excellent attention to detail in regards to presentations, visual collateral and written communication
Knowledge of Google Analytics and past experience with reporting and analysis preferred.
Have excellent working knowledge of PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office package
To show ability to work within tight internal and external deadlines and schedules as well as the ability to prioritise and manage own workload
Knowledge of CRM systems, WordPress, emailing software and reporting software preferred but not essential

Creative thinker bringing solutions, strategy and ideas to the department
Event management and/or healthcare industry experience preferred but not essential
Some travel may be required between offices, to industry events and occasionally for on-site client events
