We are working exclusively with a leading Poole based company, who are expanding their marketing team and have created a new role to support their growth plans.

In summary, our client is looking for someone who will develop marketing campaigns (offline and online) as well as support the marketing manager with a variety of other project led marketing activities. This role will see the successful candidate involved in campaign management across a variety of formats (Digital / Online, offline, mailers, events etc) and will require them to have confident communication skills to work with internal teams as well as external agencies, graphic designers etc.

The role offers a route to progression within a growing company and our client is willing to consider someone who has a basic level of marketing experience behind them but is keen to gain further experience and develop.

Responsibilities:
  • Work within a busy marketing team, taking ownership for implementing a new marketing automation system and overseeing the management thereof, moving forward.
  • Work on marketing campaigns with the aim of acquiring and retaining customers
  • Brief and oversee the work of internal and external agencies, to execute project driven marketing activities
  • Work closely with the marketing manager to an agreed budget
  • Write, edit and proofread copy for promotional materials for marketing campaigns
  • Ensure the Company's brand and identity is adhered to across all marketing communication channels
  • Deliver regular reports of campaign results, including web analysis and evaluation of KPIs as well as measuring the ROI of campaigns and providing post campaign evaluations.
  • On occasion you may be required to the team with event management
  • Take on additional marketing related responsibilities as and when required, in order to support the overall success of the marketing team.

Experience and key skills:
  • Previous copywriting, campaign management or digital marketing experience would be ideal and advantageous
  • Previous project management experience would be ideal
  • Confident communication skills as well as the ability to work with people at all levels is essential as you will have both internal and external interactions with employees, clients and agencies.
  • Experience of working in a marketing role / team would be ideal as will any other marketing skills, qualifications or experience.
  • Setting and working to agreed budgets

Our client is willing to support the right candidate with on the job training, provided they have a minimum of 12 - 18 months experience of working in a marketing role / environment. A degree qualification or equivalent would also be ideal, but not essential, depending on other experience.
