About you

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Digital Content Executive to help us achieve our goals at an exciting and pivotal time in the growth of the business. If you are looking to utilise your creative skills within the rapidly growing wellness market, and have a passion for written content creation and natural health, we would love to hear from you.

The Team

You will be part of a lively and enthusiastic small team, working in a fast-paced but fun environment where being a team player is essential. Based in our Aston office, you will work closely with the Marketing & Brand Manager and Graphic Designer to develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy across all relevant channels.

Key Responsibilities

Follow briefs submitted by the Marketing & Brand Manager to produce engaging, creative and accurate written digital content in the following forms, with the objective of increasing customer engagement;

oBlog posts and articles

o Social Media content

o Website copy including product descriptions and landing pages

o Product packaging copy
  • Maintain written website content to ensure information is up-to-date and accurate
  • Ensure all content is optimised for SEO benefit and matches the BeYou tone of voice
  • Undertake unprompted online research to understand content topics and contribute ideas to the Brand Content Plan
  • Work with external PR agencies to provide accurate information for upcoming Press Releases
  • Contribute to the overall smooth running of the business by communicating openly, solving problems proactively, offering creative ideas and working as a positive engaged, team member

Key Skills and Experience

The following skills, experience and characteristics would be essential to the role;

Highly organised, comfortable working under pressure to tight deadlines with limited supervision and prioritising own workload
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with precise attention to detail
  • A creative and dynamic flair; the ability to bring briefs to life in an engaging and conversational tone of voice
  • Solid IT skills, with experience in using both Google Drives and Microsoft Office
  • Inquisitive and self-sufficient with a willingness to learn independently; this role will require frequent research into content topics
  • Passionate about all things BeYou; natural health and wellbeing, female empowerment and period/body positivity!
  • Knowledge of Social Media, SEO and Digital Analytics
  • Ability to interpret performance of content campaigns with an analytical view
  • An understanding of, and ability to interpret, customer behaviors and market data
  • Confidence in writing, and talking to the wider team, about 'taboo' subjects, including menstruation, on a frequent basis

The following would be advantageous, but not essential, to the role;

1-2 years' experience working in a Content Executive/Assistant role or similar
  • BSc in Marketing, English, Creative Writing, Journalism or related field
  • Experience using image and video editing software
