.NET Developer - Kendal/Cumbria - (£30,000 - £45,000)

The organisation in question are based in Kendal/Cumbria and they are keen to recruit experienced Software Developers, ideally with a good understanding of the Microsoft Stack.

The roles are 'full stack' and they are keen to speak to applicants with a background in Microsoft .NET technologies. You'll be working on cutting edge projects, primarily enterprise in scale and focused around emerging markets such as Big Data, Cloud and AI. As a Lead Software Developer, you'll be expected to work across the full Software Development Lifecycle, working with both internal and external teams.

As an organisation, they are heavily Agile and your role will see you adopting a range of Agile methodologies as well as modern software development processes including CI/CD, DevOps and Test Driven Development (TDD). Agile experience is specifically important so any previous experience acting as a Scrum Master would be additionally beneficial.

In terms of the specific candidate requirements, rather than simply regurgitating the job description, I wanted to highlight a few key areas below:
  • Tech Stack - a background Microsoft (C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, SQL CSS, HTML) is preferred, but any experience with wider languages. They are a 'true tech company' and like to hire people who aren't just confined/limited to a single technology area.

In return, you will benefit from an above market-rate salary (£30,000 - £45,000), varied benefits package and the opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies in an Agile environment. Moreover, you will be given a tailored 'T-shaped' progression route, with opportunities to move into a leadership role.

If you are keen to learn a bit more about this specific opportunity then I would be happy to set up a follow up chat - I can be contacted by the following means:
