Are you interested in online advertising and the execution of digital marketing campaigns?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading B2B marketer who are looking to expand their Digital Marketing team within the Online Trading department.

About the role:

Working in a dynamic and fast paced environment, you will be required to work within a wider team on improving advertising and email channels.

Reporting to the Head of Online Trading, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a keen interest in digital marketing, from CPC advertising and social media, to email campaigns.

Candidates must have excellent written and technical skills and be able to merchandise products effectively, but also be able to understand, research and analyse technical opportunities to pass to the in-house development team. Experience of using the Google Ads admin and associated tools is essential, in addition to experience of using email marketing software packages.

Core responsibilities:
  • Proof and Send Prospect/Customer eShots
  • Auditing Automated Email programmes for product/price changes
  • Monitoring of eShot reply inbox, forwarding replies to relevant departments and updating customer marketing preferences to remain compliant with GDPR.
  • Populate pre-built weekly business reports and circulate/analyse
  • Analyse current advertising performance and report suggested changes
  • Management of product data for PLA shopping feeds
  • Assist website content updates for SEO and Marketing purposes

Candidate requirements:
  • Experienced in using Excel to analyse, present and interpret results - must be able to use array formulas, subtotals and graphs effectively
  • Able to write high quality, engaging content that merchandises products effectively. This is necessary for advertising, social and email marketing improvements
  • Able to multitask effectively and project manage to meet time-sensitive deadlines
  • Basic understanding of HTML for email purposes a bonus, but not essential
  • Prior experience with email marketing platforms such as DotDigital and MailChimp
  • Experience with Google Ads and other online advertising platforms ideal
  • Able to work under pressure and be the final approver for email sends to tens of thousands of customers
