We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented and driven Marketing Manager to join a successful and fast-growing Arts, Crafts & Toy company in a highly strategic role.
About Us:

Craft Buddy are one of the UK's fastest-growing Arts & Craft companies. We design and produce several product brands which are popular in the Arts, Crafts, Toy and Gift industries, including "Crystal Art", "Pretty Gets Gritty", "Dawn Bibby Creations" and "Forever Flowers" . We export our products to over 15 countries. Our office and warehouses are based in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, a short drive from North and West London, and on the tube line (station: Chesham / Metropolitan Line).

The Role:

  • Role objective: to significantly grow brand awareness of our Arts & Craft brands, within the Arts & Craft and Toy industries, both in the UK and abroad, to other businesses (B2B) and to consumers (B2C)
  • The successful candidate will report directly to the company managing directors ,and gain an insight into many aspects of consumer product development, brand-building and entrepreneurship

Responsibilities include:
  • MARKETING STRATEGY. Work with the company directors and sales manager to devise a coherent marketing strategy to help us achieve our ambitious growth targets. This will involve elements of all the below:
  • COLLABORATION WITH OUR PR COMPANY. Work closely and strategically with our partner PR company to achieve brand-building targets
  • E-MAIL MARKETING. Building brand awareness to our B2C and B2B audiences, via e-mail marketing.
  • E-COMMERCE MARKETING. Manage our e-commerce marketing spend on platforms such as GoogleAdwords, Google Shopping, Facebook ads, Youtube, Instagrametc.
  • SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING. Involvement in the management of our social media accounts to help drive and grow brand awareness. We currently have active and growing accounts on Facebook, Instagram and Youtube.
  • ADVERTISING & MARKETING MATERIALS. Boosting brand awareness via advertising, involving the creation of print artworks, digital artworks, magazine ads etc.
  • EVENT PLANNING. Help plan and and run booths at trade fairs, both in the UK and abroad - we exhibit at several fairs annually.
  • You will report to the company managing directors, and work closely with the Sales Manager, Assistant Sales Manager and Customer Experience Manager

Person Profile:
  • You will have previous work experience of at least 3+ years in a Marketing role
  • You have strong graphic design skills in Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator
  • Strong copy writing and proofreading skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Prior experiencing using Mailchimp and Shopify is a valuable asset though not essential
  • Prior experience in consumer product brand-building is a valuable asset
  • Prior experience in e-commerce is helpful
  • Be open to occasional travel for international trade fairs

Further Details:

*Full time, Mon-Fri, 9am-530pm

*Start date: Monday 29th July (negotiable)

*25 days paid annual leave plus public holidays

*1 month notice period to terminate employment
