Tax Compliance and Reporting Manager, Brighton

One of the largest International healthcare groups are currently recruiting for a Tax Compliance and Reporting Manager to be based in their team in Brighton.

The successful applicant will report to the Head of Tax and assist with managing the global tax reporting and compliance requirements international businesses. This role would be ideal for someone looking to gain a wide range of experience in a large corporation without having to commute into a large city.

The successful individual will be involved with:
  • Working with other teams throughout international businesses to deliver the process of the provision of their year-end tax reporting numbers, forecasts, and external disclosures. This includes the review and consolidation of submissions and adherence to strict reporting deadlines.
  • Preparation and review of the Solvency II tax processes including co-ordinating information flows from the BU's, for submission to Centre.
  • Review and oversight of CT filing processes and returns in Denmark, Malta, Cyprus, Ireland, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the UK, Hong Kong, UAE, Egypt, Singapore, and China reviewing all submissions and tax payments to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Review of all indirect tax filing obligations for the Global businesses established in the UK and Ireland
  • Review of UK and Irish VAT return submissions.

About you:
  • You will ideally be a qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA)
  • You will have a financial accounting background and experience of corporation tax gained in a Multinational group or Professional Services firm.
  • You will need to have up to date technical knowledge of UK tax and UK IFRS financial reporting and experience of international tax issues.
