REED Education are proud to be working alongside an Ofsted 'Good' secondary school in Staffordshire who are looking for an SEN Specialist TA to join them on a temporary basis in September.

Working on a full time basis, you will be supporting the teaching and learning of a female KS3 pupil with additional physical needs- including personal care, feeding and manual lifting. Experience in supporting Spinal Muscular Atrophy is preferred but not essential.

You must have experience supporting on a 1:1 basis with pupils with physical additional needs and be willing to undertake changing and cleaning of the young person in your care. Experience supporting across KS3-4 is essential.

Due to the nature of the pupil's requirements, the duration of the booking is currently unknown and dependent on the success of the placement and the transition of the pupil. There may also be changes due to the pupil's health and circumstance. Therefore, a good level of flexibility and understanding is needed.
