Digital Technical Project Manager - Part-Time

A tech savvy Project Manager / Technical Project Manager is needed to join a leading Design and Branding Agency based in trendy Shoreditch. Offering flexible part-time hours of 16 hours a week, this role will be varied and keep you busy when in the office. You'll be organised, with bags of initiative. Good with people, comfortable taking responsibility and comfortable directing others.

Established in the late 1990s, with the aim to break free from the bland and predictable, this growing brand and design agency has built an enviable reputation for creating and revamping brands strategy, design, websites, online and print marketing and much more. They are now seeking a Technical Project Manager to work between developers and clients to ensure digital projects run efficiently.

The role will be key to ensure the best solutions are delivered for clients and their brands; whether that is websites, app development or other digital products.

Working closely with both designers, developers and clients, you will be communicating the clients' technical needs to internal teams and third-party developers; providing clear and concise guidance on their requirements. Although you will not be required to directly write technical code, you will need to be comfortable and confident working and communicating within a technical environment. Your broad knowledge of software development will allow for clear translation of the clients' websites needs. You'll know how to tell a client when their specification is overkill and can suggest alternative approaches. It will be your attention to detail and outstanding communication skills that will guarantee projects are delivered without a hitch.

To qualify... You should be a Technical Project Manager / Project Coordinator / Project Administrator / Project Lead or similar with a CV that can demonstrate:
  • You are passionate about managing web projects well;
  • You can deliver results to budget and time, consistently doing what you say you're going to do;
  • You only have to be asked once to do something and it gets done;
  • Have excellent communication, time management and organisational skills;
  • Manage communications with and managing remote workers;
  • Have a pro-active and problem-solving approach and can work as part of a team;
  • Thrive in a fast-paced working environment whilst remaining calm under pressure and approachable always;
  • Experience with the project management tool Monday would be helpful, but not essential;
  • When they say you'll be managing stand-ups and sprints - you know what we mean.

The Project Manager can expect a first-class company experience offering superb benefits (20 days holiday plus extra time off at Christmas, team lunches on Fridays, day trips to cultural events, Cycle to Work Scheme, and more).
