Job Title: Purchase ledger/ Accounts Clerk

Location: Whitechapel London

Duration: 6 months

Full-time role - Monday to Friday - 42 hr week. +6 month assignment.

Brief Description of Role:

The candidate should have experience working in an Accounts office. They should be able to work to a high standard, within a small Finance team, meeting regular deadlines. To be able to communicate with other departments to resolve queries.

Daily opening of post and distributing within the team

Scanning & batching of all invoices on daily basis

Entering delivery tickets for Material purchases

Matching Material invoices to orders (3 way matching)

Resolving queries relating to Material orders/invoices

Supplier Statement reconciliations

Period end - Material accruals (based on 4 wk periods)

Filing of invoices and delivery notes

Purchase ledge knowledge and experience

Excel to a good standard

Ad-hoc duties to assist the Assistant Accountant

Essential Criteria

Knowledge of the COINS system would be an advantage.

Knowledge of the Construction industry would be and added bonus.
