Become a Technical Trainer with The Security Watchdog (part of Capita)

Location- Alton

Salary £30,000 -£35,000pa depending on experience

The hours typically 09:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday.

On occasions flexibility to work additional hours will be required.

Occasional overseas travel may be required, but not on a regular basis.

Job Summary

Based in our Alton office, the role is accountable and responsible for the roll-out and training of our new bespoke internal system, whilst educating and demonstrating best practice of all existing systems.

This role would suit a graduate with a training background who can introduce new and innovative ways to train.

  • Directly responsible for refreshing existing internal systems training and usability training
  • Ability to provide training, for external partner online tools
  • Rolling out future Volti4 (new internal system) training across operations
  • Supporting implementation of agile/lean mindset and methodology
  • Provide systems usability coaching to all front-line roles
  • Keeping system usability modules of induction up to date.
  • Forming usability best practice for systemsKey Experience Needed
  • Design and delivery of learning and development (L&D) initiatives
  • Understanding of different learning styles
  • Passionate about learning and facilitating
  • Delivery within a change department, preferably process and technology
  • Use of Agile-Lean approaches in delivery experience e.g. Kanban, Jira
  • Coaching and training experience on Agile-Lean approaches

Personal attributes
  • Technical training experience, or some exposure to training in this environment
  • Determined, highly proactive and self-motivated
  • Friendly, helpful and easy-going disposition
  • Ability to lead change through clear planning, communications and coaching with a commercial mindset
  • Self-confident, demonstrating a positive attitude always with a can-do attitude
