We are working exclusively with a leading manufacturing / engineering firm, who are expanding their marketing team and have created a new role to support their growth plans.

In summary, our client is looking for someone who will develop marketing campaigns that are both direct and targeted, to their customer base. The campaign formats will vary, so the ideal candidate will have experience of campaign management in a variety of formats (Digital / Online, offline, mailers, events etc).

Responsibilities:
  • Form a crucial part of the marketing team, taking ownership for implementing a new marketing automation system and overseeing the management thereof, moving forward.
  • Devise B2B integrated marketing campaigns with the aim of acquiring and retaining customers
  • Manage the implementation, tracking and measurement of marketing campaigns
  • Brief and oversee the work of internal and external agencies, to execute campaigns and measure and report on their effectiveness
  • Work closely with the marketing manager to an agreed budget
  • Write, edit and proofread copy for promotional materials within marketing campaigns
  • Ensure the Company's brand and identity is adhered to in campaigns and across all communications channels
  • Deliver regular reports of campaign results, including web analysis and evaluation of KPIs as well as measuring the ROI of campaigns and providing post campaign evaluations.
  • Ensure accuracy of marketing materials and provide formal sign off where necessary
  • On occasion you may be required to the team with event management

Experience and key skills:
  • Previous campaign management (with particular focus on Digital) as well as the ability to devise and deliver marketing plans, meet deadlines and ensure ROI
  • Setting and working to agreed budgets
  • Tracking performance of live campaigns against KPIs
    Previous line management experience would be ideal as this role does have 2 direct reports.
  • Previous experience of marketing automation systems is desired, in order to support the smooth transition and incorporation of a new system, internally
  • Previous CRM and data management experience required.
  • Excellent writing skills in order to prepare copy for marketing promotions and campaigns
  • Confident communication skills are essential - the ideal candidate will be communicating with internal and external contacts and need to be able to confidently meet expectations and extract relevant information as required.
  • Project Management skills are essential as you will be planning and executing campaigns, meeting deadlines for multiple projects and ensure that time frames and budgets are adhered to, within your remit.

Whilst a Degree level qualification or equivalent would be ideal, qualifications through experience would also be considered.
