Overview of the role:We are looking for a talented and passionate Product Marketer to drive vision, messaging, awareness, and go-to-market strategy for our Point of Sale and App Store products for Retail and Hospitality industries. In this role, you will bridge the gap between Marketing and Software. You'll work closely with the Marketing Manager and Product Owner Director to execute product launches, build value-based positioning and narratives, develop sales and partner enablement content, orchestrate release marketing, and deliver compelling product positioning. The right candidate will be able to take the complex and make it simple, and of course, be a great storyteller.

Accountabilities
  • Work with the Marketing Manager and Product Owner Director to execute product launch plans
  • Support product management and sales to ensure effective and ongoing relevance in the market to drive lead generation and pipeline
  • Drive the creation of product content for both our retail and hospitality customers and splitting out the appropriate content to nurture leads, educate and increase engagement for new and existing products
  • Partner and collaborate with our world-class Product Management team to promote our extensive app store in order to increase revenue through third-party integrations
  • Track, monitor and optimise products listed on website and app store using design and UX tactics
  • Work with our product owners to translate our product offering into easy to understand training material for the sales team and internal stakeholders
  • Assist product owners with community engagement through forums, chats and user groups and promoting the communities in order to grow

AppStore Success Measures
  • Compound recurring revenue growth 6% month on month within AppStore
  • Increase average lifecycle of customers by 20% through the AppStore
  • Target of over 2700 customers on apps within the platform, inline with net new customer growth on the platform
  • Target of 50% self signups for apps
  • Accurate analytics for AppStore to drive marketing plans
  • All core verticals covered by key app marketing material
  • Reduce customer app churn from 5% to 3%
  • 2% of customers on an app bundle
  • All apps have marketing materials
  • All apps have training materials
  • External release notes
  • Supporting content strategy
  • Attending all content strategy meetings
  • Management of content strategy roadmap

Product Success Measures
  • Work with Graphic Designer to produce product materials including brochures and other materials
  • Provide full product marketing support
  • Adhere to policies and processes.
  • Suggest process, systems and service improvements.

Person Profile:

The right person for this role will have:
  • Bachelor's degree required (or equivalent).
  • 3-6 years experience in marketing
  • Organisational and project management skills to keep programs and teams on track
  • Strong communication, storytelling, and presentation skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences and different functions; ability to take complex and make it simple
  • Hands-on ability to help create a range of marketing assets (including product demo videos, product briefs, slide pitch-decks in Apple Keynote and Microsoft PowerPoint)
  • Creative thinker that can generate innovative marketing ideas, work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of stakeholders to drive execution
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent writing skills
  • Understanding of sales needs and processes, potentially at a hands-on level
  • Proven track record of success setting and achieving ambitious goals
