Due to the large scale of the business we have a wealth of knowledge in the industry and can offer our clients bespoke and competitive rates so that they can offer their employees a comprehensive wellbeing package. The client-market we work in is small to medium enterprises and currently has 3000 clients that we service throughout the year.The main focus of your role as a Sales Advisor will be to acquire new clients through new & existing partnerships with Brokers within the MMC network. Besides opening new client accounts, you will be continuously managing and enhancing your relationships with internal and external Health & Benefits (HB) Brokers. This will be achieved by excellent customer service, strong product knowledge and a solution-based mentality.Responsibilities:Achieve new business targetMonitor insurers/ providers performance on behalf of clientsCommunicate and negotiate with insurersCompletion and maintenance of CRM and use to plan, manage and monitor sales activityIdentify business opportunities from prospectsWork with support team assigned to ensure the delivery of service to clients in line with Mercer standardsUnderstand client needs and meet objectivesBuild successful client relationshipsExpand client relationships across broader EH&B offeringsGain referrals from clientsSuccessfully transition new accounts to colleagues post winWork closely with other colleagues to maintain clientsTo be considered for this role, you will possess the following skills and experience:Proven track record of winning new business and achieving yearly sales targets on a consistent basisCurrent or previous experience in a Business-to-Business sales environment; preferably within Employee Health & Benefits industryStrong organisation skills and able to manage multiple sales prospectsAble to work on own initiativeAbout the company:At Mercer, we make a difference in the lives of more than 110 million people every day by advancing their health, wealth, and careers.
