My client is a wealth management practice located on the outskirts of Guildford. They manage over £200 million and near on 1000 clients assisting them on making informed financial decisions on their future.

My client is looking to expand their team size of roughly 11. They are seeking for an experienced, self- motivated, hardworking senior paraplanner, wealth technical advisory support manager who will report to the director of the company and support 3 advisers. The Senior Paraplanner will be the main point of contact for the current paraplanner to go to. The ideal candidates will hold the diploma in financial planning and come from an experienced background in paraplanning.

Onsite parking is available at the location and the offices are based in a great location with lovely modern spacious offices to create the perfect working environment.

My client provides full study support towards the level 6 charter status. They also provide full guidance on in house and external training.

Duties as followed:

Researching and writing suitability reports when required

Supporting the Paraplanners and able to cover their workload when they are out of office

Developing sales proposition by spotting gaps in the 'service offering' and working on improvements

Developing, training and providing guidance to team members, especially para planners.

Reviewing template suitability reports and creating new ones in new product areas

Updating product panels on a quarterly basis.

Doing project work including in depth research and analysis and recommendations

Due Diligence work on providers of certain products e.g. VCT and EIS.

Dealing with clients' technical queries and providing generic guidance in the absence of IFAs.

Skills / Experience Required:

Must have Level 4 diploma in financial planning and be working towards level 6 advanced diploma

Excellent planning skills including report-writing skills

Good technical skills and technical knowledge of advice and product options

Time management and accuracy skills

Good communication skills and ability to work on own initiative when required
