Technical Support Engineer - £35,000-£38,000 - split between Guildford and Remote

Permanent including Night Shifts (4 on 4 off 24/7/365)

Concept Resourcing are working with a growing managed service provider who are looking for a Technical Support Analyst to join their service team. This is a great opportunity to join an exciting organisation, and to broaden the range of technologies you can work with.

Key Duties
Support the out of hours teams by responding to incidents logged on the ticketing system and providing end users with technical solutions whilst working towards set SLA's. Provide a point of technical escalation and expertise, performing daily, weekly and monthly tasks relating to the pathing, SCCM, Hyper-V, Storage and networking technologies to name a few.

  • Experience in service delivery in an SLA based environment
  • Helpdesk and support experience
  • Good knowledge of IT Platforms.
  • Knowledge with SCCM, Hyper-V, Storage, basic Cisco Networking, VMWare and SolarWinds
  • Patching experience is required
  • Must be self-motivating, and be able to be flexible with shift patterns

  • MSP experience preferable
  • HP and Dell experience
  • Statistical analysis skills

Hours of Work

4 on 4 off shift pattern. 4 shifts made up of 2 nights and 2 days, 12 hours in length with an hour break. Night shifts and weekend are based remotely, week day shifts are office based.

Salary - £35-38,000
