The Lifestyle Marketing Team, based in Cheltenham is responsible for the marketing activities for Towergate's Niche insurance products, including but not limited to boat, caravan and military insurance. It's a dynamic and fast-paced environment and no two days are the same. We're looking for someone to join the team to cover Maternity Leave - someone who is proactive, full of ideas and can hit the ground running.

Purpose of the Role:

Support the team by:
  • Planning and delivering a combination of acquisition and retention campaigns across a multitude of Lifestyle Insurance products to support the business strategy
  • Developing external customer communications and act as the voice of the customer for the Lifestyle division
  • Work locally with key business stakeholders and functional experts such as the Digital Marketing, Corporate Communications and Operations Teams to deliver a wide range of marketing activities.
  • Fully execute external marketing activity and campaigns across media and channels ensuring that they contribute towards business objectives e.g. income, retention, customer satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with all parts of the Marketing team and wider business areas to ensure input is provided to all goals, objectives and deliverables for the Trading Division
  • Deliver high quality and accurate briefs that enable delivery of business and marketing objectives working with creative teams and suppliers
  • Work collaboratively with all parts of the Marketing team across Towergate to develop and implement integrated campaigns and initiatives
  • Support the Marketing Business Partner in managing the budget process for specified activity
  • Ensure appropriate ROI measurement is in place for all activity, ensuring a consistent environment of 'test, learn and improve'
  • Ensure all governance and compliance processes are adhered to correctly
  • Assist in the production of relevant MI by monitoring, recording, analysing and presenting campaign information
  • Maintain knowledge of the brand, service and product portfolio in the context of the external environment in order to share insight with the Marketing and Trading Division teams to help inform decision making
  • Support wider business initiatives and projects from a marketing perspective as required

Essential Criteria - must be clearly demonstrated on CV
  • Previous experience working in a generalist marketing role for a large organisation
  • Experienced in successful B2C/B2B marketing (insight, proposition and marketing communications).
  • Understanding of project management to include planning, development and delivery of initiatives

Also essential
  • Experience in working as part of a virtual team to deliver great outcomes
  • Experience of working in a dynamic, fast paced and results-focussed environment
  • Proficient in budget management, ROI modelling
  • Must be an excellent planner and self-sufficient in order to manage a varied workload
  • Strong stakeholder management skills

  • A relevant marketing qualification e.g. CIM or IDM diploma (preferred)
