Senior Audit Manager - IT Payments

£60-90kpa + excellent benefits - car allowance + bonus + pension + healthcare

Swindon

My market leading client seeks an exceptional Senior IT Audit Manager for their Head Office based in Swindon.

You will manage audit engagements across both IT Payments platforms. You'll need proven technical experience in auditing IT Payments; ideally within a financial services environment.

Responsibilities:-
  • You will manage a team of audit colleagues, coaching them to deliver high quality and impactful audits.
  • You'll ensure delivery of audits that assess governance, risk management and key controls.
  • Some challenging conversations may be required to agree identified issues, so you'll need to be able to ask the right questions and be brave enough to challenge and have the integrity and influencing skills to build trust and credibility with your stakeholders.
  • This is a great opportunity to manage your own business area relationships. You'll work in an energetic and productive team, and be able to build credibility and reputation within the Senior Leadership team.

Skills & Experience required:-
  • A relevant professional qualification (for example, the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors' qualifications, ISACA's CISA, CISSP or CISM, or project management qualifications).
  • Experience of auditing or managing risks, processes and controls associated with IT Payments.
  • Proven at collaborating with the senior leadership team in identifying strategic audit priorities.
  • You'll have exceptional organisational skills, being able to drive the planning and delivery of a range of audits.
  • Experience of leading a high performing team, providing performance feedback, career guidance and coaching.
  • Influence others and build professional business relationships including executive leaders and directors.
  • Be positive and brave in your approach, overcoming barriers that arise.
  • Be comfortable with change, leading the development and implementation of ongoing improvement initiatives to deliver the strategy.
