Senior Business Development Manager / BDM ( Payments / Retail )

An exciting new business/Senior Business Development role has come up with a client in the loyalty and payments space. This role is focused on generating new partnerships with UK-based retailers and helping them expand on their loyalty offering.

The role requires the development and management of a targeted prospect list of retailers, offering a product that will revolutionise loyalty to millions of UK consumers.

The role itself would allow flexible working with at least two days a week in office which are situated west of London.

Essential skills:
  • Proven success in B2B sales
  • Experience in developing proposals, presenting and working across a number of external stakeholders up to C-level
  • 5+ years of new business sales experience
Advantageous skills:
  • Knowledge of the payments industry is preferable, second to that would be loyalty programs-ideally your background would include both

Main duties:
  • Identifying potential clients, making contact with them and building relationships (there are two sales cycles-one is long and the other is shorter)
  • Develop proposals, present to retail clients and engage in negotiations
  • Work to on-board retailers
