This forward thinking and fast-paced company is seeking an experienced accountant & office manager to join their friendly team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the finance and daily office operations. This is a very fast paced and diverse role so the ideal candidate will have experience working in an ever changing and highly engaging environment.

Salary: £28,000-35,000

Hours: 9.00am-6.00pm

Duties are but not limited to:
  • Issuing of all sales invoices and robust credit control for both the Italian and UK entity
  • Process of all Purchase invoices timely
  • Check, approve, process and payment of employee expenses claims
  • Bi-monthly payment of purchase invoices and expenses
  • Bank reconciliations and ownership of cash flow updates on a weekly basis
  • Prepare journal entries
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Assist with the production of annual financial statements, reporting packages
  • Ownership of month end closing process and data merge of the three entities.
  • Perform and assist with ad-hoc queries as required
  • Order and maintain office refreshments, stationery and equipment

  • ACA or ACCA qualified; UK and Italian GAAP knowledge

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Computer literate - Microsoft packages, particularly Excel
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good time management and organization
  • Show initiative and good problem-solving skills
  • Work Experience: 5 - 10 years
  • Fluent English and Italian
