Our client is seeking a full time Field Sales Merchandiser to join their current team. The division provides customised merchandise for various clients across the UK. As FSM, you will responsible for optimising client spend within existing and new client accounts.

The successful candidate will possess strong sales skills whilst providing excellent customer service and relations. You will visit their clients throughout the UK to advise on point of sale and strategy to increase sales. The role holder will travel all corners of the country to witness the merchandise in-situ and provide recommendations to client to drive revenue. The successful candidate will also spend time during each visit to support with shop layout and answer any queries.

The ideal candidate will be methodical and organised with the ability to communicate to clients in an effective manner. Previous product sales are essential and a desire to drive sales with clear objectives and analysis.

  • Drive key accounts for our client by maintaining great service and relationships.
  • Maintain a comprehensive library of appropriate data about sales performance.
  • Assist to plan budgets and present sales forecasts and figures for new ranges.
  • Maintain an awareness of competitors throughout the industry and seek to research and implement best practice.
  • Identify slow selling lines and create strategies to minimise dead stock.
  • Ensure stock levels are maintained to ensure that supply meets demand, particularly of top selling items.
  • Work with procurement and logistics to ensure products arrive on time, are stored correctly, shipped correctly and are within budget.
  • Visit their client's shops throughout the UK on a regular basis to support where required and create innovative strategies to drive spend.
  • Create project timelines and take all reasonable steps to ensure that goods are delivered on time.
  • Effectively communicate with the Retail Manager to ensure that on-going progress is continually reported.
  • Complete various health and safety duties.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Must have merchandising experience and hold a clean driving licence.
  • Able to create sales data and drive strategy.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to identify different point of sale strategies and implement accordingly.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrate a passion for results.
