Our client based in Shrewsbury is recruiting an HR Compliance Administrator to join their team.

The role involves providing excellent co-ordination administration to the security section of the business ensuring compliance and industry recognised regulations are being adhered to: BS7858:2012

Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties involve but are not limited to;
  • Maintaining and managing Records on the CRM personnel system, processing applicants' files to ensure applicants' files meet all mandatory checks
  • Co-ordination of DBS checks for the group through a third party
  • Maintain a vetting work in progress report providing all details on the status of all vetting files.
  • Liaise with managers to collate all outstanding documents and upload to third party providers systems
  • To have working knowledge and understanding of home office/border agency, rights to work in the UK related law and regulations
  • Ownership of the Visa process, making sure that all employees continue to have the right to work in the UK
  • Ensuring 'Right to Work' ID checks are completed (with the assistance of the HR Admin teams);
  • Dealing with incoming queries
  • General administration duties
  • Work closely with the HR Department when on boarding new starters
  • Collation of figures for Management
  • Providing accounts with a monthly report on chargeable licences and screening
  • Arrange and renew SIA licences for new and existing security personnel and provide reports to accounts

Qualifications: Ideal but not essential

CIPD Qualified

Experience with following and processing BS7858:2012 screening

Experience: Essential

·Experience of working in a busy Administration department

·Experience of the recruitment processes

·Experience of compiling and presenting reports and analysing data

Skills & Abilities (Competencies)

·Computer literate with experience of Office (Word, Excel, & Power Point) & other systems

·Ability to work effectively in a team

·Effective communicator - orally and in writing

·Good organisational skills

·Able to handle large volumes of paperwork

·Able to challenge process and seek out better ways of working

·Ability to maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders within a client environment

Additional Comments

·Busy environment, the successful candidate will need to be able to focus & prioritise in order to meet deadlines

·Flexible approach to working time in order to meet operational requirements
