2fawcett are recruiting for an S & OP Manager to join a company located in Nottingham on a permanent basis. This S & OP Managers vacancy is for a market leader in their industry. In order to thrive in this role, you will be a strategic, strong influencing S &OP Manager. My client located in Nottingham is keen to appoint a candidate who can deal with high product complexity as well as someone who can ensure a real robust and effective process in their current demand. To excel in this position, you will need to have plenty of sales and operation planning experience. This is a new vacancy for the company.

The Role & Responsibilities of the S & OP Manager

- Work across functions including commercial, logistics, customer service, planning and manufacturing

- Responsibility for the demand planning team

- Succession planning development

- Forecast accuracy at SKU level

- Operational performance

- Ensure robust procedures are in pace for event management of demand events, promotions, new products, new customers etc

- Eliminate waste and maximise service

- Ensure demand planning master data is maintained

- Collate market intelligence, utilising models for base sales, promotional activity and capturing NPD launches

- Lead the monthly business planning processes

- Provide transparency of business performance against key assumptions

- Develop product review to ensure clear innovation plans

- Support the innovation plan by evaluating the value and volumes

- Own and deliver the sales and demand forecast accuracy

- Support supply review process

- Support the implementation of the business wide KPI reporting

Requirements of the S & OP Manager

- As you will be required to train and build a small team so you will have previous management experience

- Skilled in S & OP best practices

- Have high product mix complexity

- Have good knowledge of IT systems and processes

- Be able to make a positive change

- Supply Chain Planning experience

- Team leadership

- Strong networking skills

- Have the ability to engage and influence

- MRP & ERP System experience

- Be able to Participation in Commercial Reviews

- Be able to Coach and drive continuous improvement

- Ensure you can build strong relationships
