Salary: £31,765 per annum, plus a company car and performance related bonus

Hours of work: Monday - Friday, 39 hours per week

Acorn Recruitment is currently searching for an experienced Compliance Manager to join a parcel distribution client based in Weybridge.

The main purpose of this role is to manage a small compliance team, and be accountable for hitting regional targets through leadership and drive, ensuring regional compliance targets and SLAs on all key KPI categories are met and delivered through the company's management team, field team and couriers.

Key responsibilities:

* Leading and managing the compliance management team to hit all regional compliance
targets which meet company, client and customer expectations.
* Driving and taking ownership for continuous improvements on ETA (Estimated Time of
Arrival), ensuring that KPI's are achieved and that poor performing or non-compliant
couriers are dealt with effectively, which will include one to one discussions with
couriers and issuing service improvements and initiatives as applicable.
* Analysing reports to identify compliance failure points.
* Responsible for regional claims and enquiries - to resolve issues, deal with couriers
and identifying consistent patterns and measures to improve.
* Responsible for improving regional compliance management through maintaining
relationships and working with key stakeholders for continuous improvement with sub
depot controllers, the loss prevention team and the depot teams to create a team ethic
and focus on all compliance issues.
* Supporting weekend coverage on a rota basis as agreed with the regional
delivery manager.

Essential requirements:

* Proven ability to be productive in current role, self-motivated with the ability and
drive to get things done.
* Previous people-management experience with a particular emphasis on support, coaching
and motivation.
* Experienced in data analysis and the ability to understand the issues and actions that
drive the data.
* Problem solving and planning effective contingencies and solutions.
* Professional appearance, articulate and able to communicate confidently at all levels.
* Competent negotiation skills
* Good understanding of Excel, Word and Powerpoint, with the ability to create
spreadsheets and pivot tables to analyse data.
* Ability to create informative presentations which communicate information visually.
* Current UK driving licence.
