Senior Communications Manager

The primary purpose of the role is to support the Portfolio MD of Capita Regulated Services with internal and external communications to support business strategy and Capita Group's transformation, whilst managing reputational risk.

This is a strategic role, leading the internal and external communications agenda at portfolio level in Capita Regulated Services, contributing to, and aligning with, both the divisional communications plan and overall Group communications strategy. The role holder will provide communication consultancy, advice and support to the Portfolio MD CRS and leadership team within the Business Unit

The role will report into Capita Specialist Services' Director of Communications for functional alignment but be located within Regulated Services operations to enable effective day to day business partnering

What you will do:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with other parts of the wider Capita Communications Community including the Divisional Director of Communications for Specialist Services and Capita Group Communications to ensure that Group-wide initiatives are built into strategy and delivered in a consistent and aligned way
  • Identify, source and develop stories and case studies to feed a sustainable pipeline of great content for a variety of uses including syndication across Group, Divisional and local channels to act as positive reinforcement and proof points of Capita's purpose and new ways of working

Your experience and skills will include:

  • Substantial communications experience of working in a corporate communications environment, ideally within the professional or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of communications strategy, channels and effective deployment to support business strategy and manage reputational risk.
  • PC skills including O365, Yammer, Teams, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
