Robert Walters are looking for a Record to Report (RTR) Lead based in Bolton. This is a newly created role as the company embark on the next phase of Finance Transformation which will result in a wider scope of the Record To Report activity moving to the UK shared Service Centre

ISS operating divisions provide high quality facility services designed to maintain the fabric and appearance of building. ISS provides facilities management; cleaning & hygiene services; maintenance and building services; catering; security; landscaping and a wide range of other tailor-made services for customers throughout the private and public sectors

The UK finance activities are currently performed across the UK and India, utilising the global back office where ISS has outsourced financial trancational activities in Hyderabad. They are now embarking on the next phase of Finance Transformation where they centralise all RTR into the finance function in Bolton.


This is a pivotal role which will be the key link between the UK business and the global back office activity in India, ensuring that both the UK and Global centres work with the business to add value.

Key responsibilities
  • Engage in transition
  • Oversee daily operations of non-standard journals, complex reconciliations, approvals, month end activities, tax returns, month end reporting, regulatory reporting etc.
  • Responsible to the integrity of the
  • Quality assurance for the RTR processes within the UK
  • Identify and implement process improvements in collaboration with Global Process Owner for RTR
  • Lead issue resolution with GSS offshore
  • Coordinate and monitor team members (both on and offshore) in assuring efficient and effective contributions to the objectives
  • To carry out any other adhoc duties, as and when required

  • Professional Accounting Qualification: ACCA, ACA, CIMA

  • Proven background within a Shared Services RTR environment is essential
  • Excellent accounting knowledge across the relevant in scope processes
  • Experience in a similar role within a multi-site business is desirable
  • Prior experience of working with an outsourced Finance Shared Service Centre
  • Experience / knowledge of Navision
