J.P. Morgan's Network and Partnership (N&P) team is a global function within Wholesale Payments (WP), responsible for managing the Firm's cash network from a Product perspective. Network providers include Financial Market Infrastructures (central counterparties, payment and cheque clearing systems), Agent Banks (cash correspondent, partner and clearing banks) and Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs). The N&P VP for EMEA is responsible for a portfolio of cash FMIs, Agent Banks, and NBFIs across the region.

N&P leverages a partnership model to achieve its objectives. Members work with the Firm's Third Party Oversight (TPO) program to select, maintain and (when necessary) exit providers. This supports the Firm's regulatory requirement to manage critical third parties to the Firm's standards and client expectations. In doing so, WP takes active responsibility for the oversite and performance of its global payments network.

N&P is responsible for bridging the gap between the Firm's procurement, management and oversight utilities and WP's network providers. This includes managing network risk, driving cost efficiencies, improving operations/service and exploring new and innovative products in the market.

N&P manages WP's network priorities. We ensure network priorities align to the global strategy. The team also collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to identify and remediate the operational escalations associated with wholesale payment processing.

The team is also responsible for tracking and evaluating market developments and participating in industry discussions to represent the interests of WP and its clients.
