Graduate Account Executive

We are delighted to be helping our client in their need for a Graduate Account Executive to join their Arbroath Customer Service Team on a full time and permanent basis. The purpose of this role is to ensure all finished goods stock is ready and available to be dispatched in line with customers orders and requirements whilst adhering to the Service Level Agreements. Responsibilities: Responsible for raising, processing and managing customer's orders. Translation of customer forecasts and orders into accurate production work instructions - undertake vendor and forecast analysis Process estimating requests - liaise with peers on cost and project management information Ensure deliveries are correctly booked Ensure stock holding of materials and finished goods are kept to a minimum Respond to customer demand forecast with an action plan to satisfy their requirements Ensure liability for materials and finished goods lays with the customer Responsible for full project management of repeating business and some new product development Develop and maintain an understanding of the full life cycle of a new product from customer brief to finished goods. Investigate and resolve customer account queries Attend and contribute to new business and pre-production meetings Ensure all customer development costs are maintained and charged Responsible for the smooth and effective organisation of all administration procedures Use web-based and manual management information system to support all aspects of the customer service function Work closely with Supply Chain to monitor and maintain raw materials and finished goods to Service Level Agreements parameters Manage department's Key Performance Indicators to meet agreed targets Investigate and manage corrective actions which arise from non-conformance to SLA Identify and highlight opportunities to increase margins/profitability and efficiencies Highlight opportunities for cost effective production batching Liaise with far east on relevant product lines being developed, ordered and shipped in line with customer demand Skills and Experience: Self motivated with a disciplined approach with good decision making abilities Minimum of 2 years account executive experience, experience gained within the print packaging industry would be an advantage Experience of managing and developing relationships with multiple customers Strong project management skills Experience of continuous improvement initiatives/projects Have extensive product and process knowledge Communication, organisational, problem solving and attention to detail skills is essential Good working knowledge of IT software; i.e. Microsoft Office, Radius Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced high volume manufacturing environment Ability to react quickly and adapt to change on a daily basis Passionate about results and fundamental belief in Health Safety, Quality, performance and training Ability to prioritise workload, use own initiative, work within a team as well as work on your own.
