Ace Appointments (Midlands) Ltd Permanent division is currently recruiting for an Accounts Administrator to work within a small and friendly finance office with superb company benefits and rewards.This is a superb opportunity that would suit an organised and tenacious candidate with excellent administrative skills.

Hours of work: Monday - Friday, 08.30 - 17.30 (40 hours)

Salary / Pay Rate: £19 - £20K depending on experience

IMMEDIATE INTERVIEW AND START AVAILABLE FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE

Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Working alongside Operations and Finance to ensure that all financial activity operates efficiently

Responsible for the sales ledger on a daily basis to include: card/bank postings i.e. Datacash, Sage, Encoded, TNS etc.

Ensure daily updates and activities on ledger to include online banking of cheques and cash and reconcillation processes are completed accurately and on time.

Processing new bank details to include: submitting direct debits, reversing direct debits, submit counter claims.

Updating and managing Suspense Accounts/Debt Accounts and perform ad hoc MI, spotting trends within the business around the receivables/payables, identifying any areas of concern or control weaknesses and reporting them to FM.

Updating customers and internal teams of financial activities.

Handling telephone traffic, processing payments (if applicable), complaint handling and managing multiple case files.

It is desirable that you possess the following attributes:

At least 2 years experience within finance and financial reporting

Possess advanced knowledge of Word/Excel & Sage 50

Excellent customer service and admin skills to include verbal and written communication skills

Ability to check invoice and ledger information

Knowledge of the finance regulations and data protection act

Proficiency with Microsoft packages and ability to work with bespoke software and record and update information with accuracy.

A Logical, systematic and thorough approach to task completion and a keen eye for detail
