A leading financial services organisation are recruiting a HR Category Manager. A full lifecycle category management role, applicants need procurement experience across; HR services, recruitment, training, benefits and payroll.

Working within a dynamic and forward-thinking procurement function, the HR Categiry Manager will work on the development of overall HR category management strategies across; recruitment (including contingent labour), training, client/employee benefits and payroll. This is an exciting end-to-end category management role in which the HR Category Manager will lead supplier selection, negotiation and contract management activities. The role reports to the Head of Procurement

Specific duties of the HR Category Manager include:
  • Lead tender process (RFIs, RFPs, RFQs)
  • Drive category strategy and cross savings through stakeholder collaboration
  • Negotiation of contractual T&Cs with suppliers
  • Achievement of savings targets
  • Develop, manage and drive improved supply chain performance
  • Contract management

Applicants to the HR Category Manager role should meet the following criteria:
  • HR category procurement experience - recruitment (including contingent labour), payroll, benefits, training etc.
  • Strategic procurement tool kit from supplier selection, negotiation through to vendor management
  • An understanding of modern category management and SRM techniques
  • Collaborative, capable of building stakeholder relationships
  • MCIPS / Degree - desirable
