Our Plumbing &Heating Division are currently recruiting for a Finance Administrator - Cash & Banking

You will provide assistance with the routine maintenance of Cash & Banking bespoke Store systems, including nominal ledger, sales ledger and bank reconciliations to ensure that information is up to date and accurate and that the integrity of the system is maintained. Support to the accounting and audit team as required.

  • Day to day maintenance of the Cash and Banking Nominal Ledger and TP Menu interfaces
  • Interaction with both internal and external stakeholders, working to resolve or escalate queries
  • Resolving cash and banking queries on financial systems in conjunction with third party service providers
  • Timely completion of bank and nominal reconciliations within month end timescales, ensuring escalation of issues where appropriate
  • Maintaining up to date Security awareness and tender knowledge, to ensure Audit compliance is adhered to and brought to attention of relevant stakeholders, where appropriate
  • Ensuring system integrity by monitoring interface and audit reports
  • Ensure that all procedures are documented and up to date
  • Supporting the Finance Analyst and CBCS Team in cash & banking reconciliations, monitoring and reporting

What we are looking for:
  • Ideally you will be working towards your AAT qualification or qualified; or equivalent cash and banking qualification
  • Great communicator and hold excellent Customer Service and Telephone relationships
  • Understanding of Cash and banking processes and accounting principles
  • Excel skills (Intermediate level ) would be essential
  • Word and Data entry skills
  • Hold strong attention to detail skills
  • Numerate with analytical approach to tasks
  • Personable and Great communicator
  • High attention to details with analytical approach to tasks
  • Team player, with desire to develop
