This organisation is a well-established charity based in Dalston, London. It is an International development charity working in diverse regions with a £4-million income.

Your new role
This is a part time opportunity - working 28 hours per week over 4 days. Your new role will consist of the following duties; invoicing, reporting processes, balance sheet reconciliations and processing cashbooks. Further responsibilities include monthly journals and accruals, year-end accounting processes and financial controls. Furthermore, budgeting, financial reporting, financial management and being a supportive team member are important within this job role. You will assist in overseeing the financial administration of programme grants, working in a multi-currency environment. You will provide support in monitoring programmatic activity and spend.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a well-organised finance officer with accounts software experience and good attention for detail. Additional skills integral for this job role involves being computer literate - proficient in Excel, MS Office, and Windows. You will need to have a good understanding of manipulating data on Excel and the ability to deal with foreign currencies is essential. Upholding good communication skills is important for working effectively with international staff.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a great competitive salary of £30,834 - £34,868 pro rata per annum. You will have an opportunity to work for a dynamic organisation in a friendly working environment. You will receive 6% employer's pension contributions and 27 days of annual leave, rising to 27 days (pro rata), 8 UK bank holidays with an additional 3 day office closure at Christmas.
