Senior Motor Fleet Underwriter


£35,000 - £50,000 + attractive package & bonus

Underwriting the region's largest fleet accounts for the specialist team of this growing international insurer, this is a key role and a rare opportunity for an ambitious Fleet Underwriter.

Your panel will include the nationals and larger provincial firms, armed with strong products, wordings and commercial appetite in a role where growth is targeted.

The role
  • As a senior member of the motor fleet team, you'll be tasked with managing the larger relationships and cases. Working on new and renewal business as well as offering junior colleagues a point of reference and supporting management with audits, QA, etc.
  • The role has an external, market facing element; there is one particular key broker account which requires regular interaction.
  • Motor Fleet is a particular area of focus and this role is key to hitting ambitious plans.
  • The role focuses on account level underwriting as well as some larger new and renewal cases.

  • You'll be a knowledgeable motor fleet underwriter, strong from a technical underwriting perspective, comfortable communicating with brokers and supporting colleagues.
  • You'll have a track record of delivering service lead underwriting results, based on relationships built and underpinned by sound underwriting knowledge and judgement.
  • You'll be professional and a strong communicator, driven by results.
  • CII qualifications, or work towards is preferred.
