I am looking for a Qualified Financial Accountant to join a global organisation to take ownership of accounting, reporting and communicating in relation to operational expenditure within the East Berkshire area. The position would suit someone with proven experience working with OPEX and CAPEX and is comfortable with communicating and presenting to high level management.

Key responsibilities:
  • Production of monthly reporting packs, presenting performance results monthly at divisional reviews
  • Finance Business partnering in relation to overheads
  • Reporting Monthly to key stakeholders such as divisional heads
  • Responsible for posting payroll, prepayment and accruals, cost centre entries and balance sheet recs
  • CAPEX accounting including IRFS 16
  • Interrogation of Costs and providing analysis
  • Overseeing an assistant Financial Accountant
  • Supporting FP&A with annual planning process, including the budgeting and re-forecasting in relation to all OPEX matters
  • Challenging and engaging with the wider business in relation to future and ongoing costs

Key Skills:
  • ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent
  • Proven ability to engage and present to high level management
  • Demonstratable experience within OPEX accounting
  • Excellent MS Office skills, ability to manipulate large data sets and produce reports from this
  • SAP and SAP BI
  • Experience in Finance business partnering
