The Operations and Sales Manager will work within the Senior Management Team of the Company, reporting to the Operations Director of the business playing a vital role in ensuring that the day-to-day Sales and Renewals Customer service operation runs smoothly. The role is responsible for ensuring that effective methods are put into place so that the teams run efficiently and efficiently whilst delivering our productivity and profitability targets, within the bounds of the company values. Culturally the business prides itself on being friendly and supportive business.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to)

Resourcing - holidays and absence mgmt.
Planning - targets/ leads/liaison with marketing
Appraisals
Timely and accurate Reporting / MI
Reporting to the senior mgmt. team
Staff management - disciplinary etc.
Recruitment
Incentives/bonus
Feedback
Innovation
Complaints handling

You will also be expected to harness a working environment which encourages team work, energy and creativity. To achieve this, you will have strong leadership and excellent problem solving and good communication skills.

Experience

You will have had at least 2 years experience of managing in a Sales/Renewals environment
You will have at least 5 years experience of Household and Motor Insurance
You will have successfully worked within a target orientated environment
