Job description

Our client is looking for a Digital Product Manager to join their data and digital products team. The successful candidate will report to the Global Data team and will work closely with subject-matter experts along with digital product teams across the business. You will be responsible for creating new business strategies for new products and digital services.

About this role

They are currently developing new digital products and services, which require new business models and go-to-market strategies. They are looking for someone who can take a strategic view of product propositions and is able to provide evidence to drive decision making. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience working in a start-up (preferably in a transport-related field) and is looking to take ownership of digital product marketing strategy for new digital products in the built environment.

  • Developing product proposition strategy for a B2B digital product in the transportation sector.
  • Delivering initiatives that bring together customer research and insights to steer product direction.
  • Identifying potential partners as part of a strategy to open products to new markets.
  • Working with product teams to develop go-to-market plans, with clear metrics and measures.
  • Taking a data-driven approach to strategic planning and tactical execution, encouraging evidence-based improvements to strategies and processes.
  • Leading by example, through creative problem solving and proactively proposing new approaches to better meet both customer and internal stakeholder needs.
  • Driving collaboration and communication across the organization by regularly sharing information, best practices, objectives, and expectations.

Requirements and skills
  • Experience implementing marketing strategies that have provided insight and understanding of customers, competitors, value propositions, and pricing, utilizing all aspects of the promotional mix across all marketing media.
  • Experience in developing lead generation, account-based marketing, product launch, and market awareness strategies, in a B2B environment.
  • Experience conducting market research to gain a deep understanding of prospects, customers, and competitors.
  • Strong customer focus in a B2B environment- able to identify different customer/market segments, various buyer types, and develop marketing programs that address their specific needs.
  • Data-driven, with strong analytical skills, able to provide complex data analysis and draw conclusions based on the analysis which inform marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Results-driven - ensure that marketing campaigns fulfil strategic goals and drive the required business results, constantly seeking to improve business performance, with the energy and tenacity to address bottlenecks and barriers.
  • Highly process-driven with excellent prioritization and attention to detail, demonstrating a drive to improve internal processes whenever possible.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.

Our client have developed a digital product for the Transport Sector. They are now at a point where we are reviewing routes to market. They need to explore new commercial models.
