P1 Recruitment is working with a busy and ever changing organisation to identify a high performing SharePoint Administrator to join their organisation.
Sharepoint Administrator Duties:
  • Provide in-depth and expert knowledge of enabled workloads within Microsoft Office 365, in particular, SharePoint Online.
  • Enablement of other core Office 365 elements such as One Drive, Yammer, Power BI and Power Apps.
  • Regular engagement with suppliers and vendors to support enforced upgrades as well as introduction of new capabilities.
  • Act as a senior SharePoint technical contact for both internal and IT partners to ensure the SharePoint portfolio is being utilised.
  • In the event of a major incident be prepared to lead resolution activities and complete root cause analysis.
  • Act as technical SharePoint SME in the support of divestitures as well as merger and acquisition activities, including integration and migration.
  • Support direct line management in ensuring the SharePoint platform is appropriately licensed and compliant.
  • Contribute to the design, support and execute SharePoint platform migration activities.

Sharepoint Administrator Requirements:
  • Minimum of 6 year's experience working in an IT application or infrastructure support role.
  • Strong communication skills and be able to interact with internal and external customers, other engineers and senior management.
  • Written skills with the ability to author technical reference and support materials.
  • Experience of working with off-shore IT support teams, engagement with international business communities as well as suppliers.
  • Good industry awareness and knowledge of SharePoint technologies and Office 365.
  • A minimum of 4 years experience working with SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint 2013/2016 on premise.
  • Experience of Microsoft Productivity Tooling such as MS Office 2013/2016.
  • Experience of working with multiple client side operating systems - specifically Windows 7, 10 and Mac.
  • Understanding of networking and communication protocols.
