Role Title: Area Brand Executive - Combustibles

Salary Range: £47,000 - £57,000

Posting Date: 5th July 2019

We are looking for an Area Brand Executive focused on our combustibles business. Sat within the Brand Marketing department and reporting into the Senior Brand Manager, your mission will be to support the Senior Brand Manager in the the Brand Marketing with the development, implementation and monitoring of brands plans across North Western Europe Brand team. You will oversee the brand performance within market and the competitor context and recommending relevant strategic activities.

You will be working in close collaboration with your Marketing peers (Brand, Strategy planning & Insight, Activation, Marketing Finance).

This role also offers plenty of opportunities for you to develop your marketing expertise and your personal leadership skills.

Key accountabilities

-Monitor performance of brands, analyze results and process internal reporting (towards local Marketing teams, Field Force teams, BAT lead market top team and International Brand Group).

-Recommend, develop and drive execution on product and packaging in collaboration with the International Brand Group team.

-Develop communication activities for Point of Sales (tobacconists) in collaboration with our communication agency, and evaluate their results.

-Ensure that Brand development plans are in line with strategic imperatives defined by the North Western Europe region

-Monitor budgets

-Closely work with other Marketing departments and develop effective working relationships with Western Europe teams.

Essential Requirements:

-Graduate level, obtained a university degree

-Marketing experience within a multinational FMCG organization

-Experience in Brand and Trade Marketing activities within a highly regulated industry

-Ability to effectively utilize market analysis and consumer insights to deploy brand strategy.

-Excellent communication skills

-Strong analytical skills, at ease with figures

-Summarization skills, ability to see the big picture

-Proactive - taking initiative and able to work automatously.

-Solution-oriented, ability to challenge status quo

-Strong skills in Power Point, Excel, Word and SAP
