COMPANY OVERVIEW: Our client is an established brand experience marketing agency, that represents a wide range of well-known food, drink, travel and tech brands. From their head office in Pudsey, west Leeds, where they devise, build, organise and implement nationwide experiential marketing campaigns both across London and throughout all major cities of the UK.

JOB ROLE SUMMARY: The Marketing Executive job role within this experiential marketing agency offers a unique, creative and varied remit of planning, organising and overseeing experiential marketing campaigns, for a wide range of brands, across a varied mix of locations. The promotional marketing activities are organised in shopping areas, supermarkets, train stations, consumer events, trade shows and all other types of environments.

GROWTH POTENTIAL: As a Marketing Executive, you'll get to work with a Gold Award winning team of leading marketing industry experts, supporting the creation and implementation of complex experiential marketing campaigns for a mix of leading global brands and new challengers. This is a varied job role, with changing campaigns, locations, brands and activities, which offers both significant opportunity for rapid professional growth and career satisfaction for individuals keen to achieve excellence in their work.

EXAMPLE LIVE ACTIVITY: Campaigns being organised in this current week include: Ginger beer sampling and selling at food festivals / crisp sampling to corporate audiences / French bakery brand using a vintage sampling vehicle on a touring roadshow across London / ice tea brand serving cocktail infusions at a music festival / leading cereal brand creating a large experiential event area at fun runs / new health drink sampling and selling at leading retailers and train stations / ice cream brand sampling and selling at leading retailers / new strawberry gin brand sampling at trade shows / leading condiment brand sampling to catering trade audiences / university conducting a recruitment drive / pet care brand organising retail sampling and sales / soft drink brand organising nationwide retail sampling campaigns. All this week!

• PRE-CAMPAIGN PHASE: Campaign Briefing / Task Planning / Job Staffing / Team Briefing / Equipment Production / Venue Management / Welfare Provision / Health & Safety / Pre-Campaign Checks
• LIVE CAMPAIGN PHASE: Live Management / Campaign Checking / Issue Rectification / Client Updates / Performance Optimisation / Feedback Collation / Report Creation / Staff Evaluation / Internal Updates
• POST CAMPAIGN PHASE: Asset Consolidation / Staff De-Brief / Client De-Brief / Opportunity Research / Final Reporting / Financial Reconciliation / Account Development
• CLIENT DEVELOPMENT: Client Liaison / Social Updates / Contacting Lapsed Clients / Refreshing Contact Details

WAGE PACKAGE

• Marketing Executive: £17,000 - £18,000 (starting salary)
• Performance Reviews: Appraisals every six months to progress role and wage
• Campaign Manager: £20,000 - £25,000 + (eg: one to two years)
• Campaign Director: £25,000 - £35,000 + (eg: three to four years)

Other Bonuses:

• Christmas Bonus: £250
• Optional Overtime: £10 p/h (flexible to suit)
• Working Days / Hours: Mon to Fri 08.45am - 17.45pm
• Holidays: 32 days paid holiday in total (23 working days, birthday, Bank Holidays)
• Increases on performance (to Campaign Manager and Director level)
