A Service Desk Team Leader is required by a well-established, fast-paced and dynamic business based in Bournemouth, Dorset. Experience in leading and managing a team of IT Service Desk Engineers with strong leadership and customer service sills is required.

Duties:
  • Lead, motivate, develop and manage performance of a team of IT Service Desk Engineers in a 24/7/365 support environment
  • Ensure continuous improvement of service desk processes
  • Ensure Service Desk Engineers provide ongoing efficient support and achieve service level agreements
  • Propose suggestions to handle fluctuations in workload
  • Analyse data to make preparations for and attend service delivery meetings and present information
  • Be part of the on-call team


Essential Requirements:
  • Experience working on a busy IT service desk environment and in a senior support role with strong technical skills
  • Demonstrable leadership and customer service skills
  • A background in or exposure to team leadership, people management or supervisory responsibilities
  • Demonstrable networking knowledge
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Experience working for a Managed Services Provider - desirable


Salary and Benefits:
The basic salary is between £32,000 - £35,000 p.a. depending on experience plus team performance related bonus (circa £200 per month). Benefits include certified training, subsidised gym membership, laptop and mobile phone.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm or 9.00am to 6.00pm - alternating weekly with on-call when required (any overtime worked is paid)
