A vibrant Roman Catholic Primary School in the South Manchester area is currently recruiting for a KS1 Teacher to join their staff team, supporting students aged 4-11 in their academic and social development. Candidate requirements:

* QTS certification

* Experience of teaching the KS1 curriculum

* A fully enhanced DBS

* A proven ability to raise and maintain high standards of tuition

* Availability for the rest of the academic year

Candidate responsibilities:

* Planning, preparing and delivering National Curriculum content in such a way that students are inspired and engaged

* Delivering interactive lessons that sustain children's enthusiasm for learning and encourage curiosity

* Overseeing support staff in the classroom in order to ensure a consistent teaching and disciplinary approach

* Communicating with parents and carers regarding pupils' progress, raising any concerns in a timely and appropriate manner while foregrounding success

* Assisting with extracurricular activities such as trips, sporting events and after-school clubs, encouraging students to participate in social pursuits and demonstrating a fun and approachable manner
