The Global Development Institute wishes to recruit a Lecturer in Development Economics to provide leadership in the teaching, academic supervision and pastoral care of students undertaking master's programmes within the Development Economics and Public Policy (DEPP) cluster.

You will contribute to postgraduate teaching and learning in development economics, including convening and delivering modules, such as Anti-Poverty Transfers and International Finance for Development, in the areas of development economics, development finance and public policy. Duties include convening, delivering lectures and/or tutorials on (core and optional) courses and supervising dissertations in the master's programmes in development economics, development finance and public policy.

The post start date is August 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter. This is a fixed term contract until the end of July 2020.

Salary will be on the Grade 6 academic scale, according to relevant experience.

Interviews are likely to be held in late July/early August 2019.
