Data Scientist, Data Analyst, SPSS

Many companies are waking up to the opportunities that their data holds, and are looking to monetise that for their own gain, but this company isn't one of them! They're a leading healthcare-focused charity, carrying out some of the most important patient and staff surveys in the sector, and they're seeking an experienced Data Scientist / Data Analyst with strong SPSS skills to join their team!

The Role

A newly-created role to work alongside the company's Chief Statistician, the Data Scientist / Data Analyst will apply their data/statistical skills, knowledge and experience across a number of concurrent quantitative research projects, building and developing the tools to allow their team of Research Associates to process, interpret and report on large data sets derived from surveys and questionnaires. The company also carries out original research to create papers and publications, so the successful Data Scientist / Data Analyst will get to work in this fascinating area as well.

What's Required?

• Experience of working with large data sets - validation, cleansing, analysis, etc.

• Strong SPSS skills, with experience to a syntax level

• Some programing/scripting skills with regards to data, such as R or Python, to aid automation, as well as for pushing data into Tableau

• Experience gained with survey/questionnaire data would be highly beneficial
