Role Profile: Consumer Relations Transformation Programme Manager

A fantastic opportunity is available for a Programme Manager to work on a transformational programme within the Consumer Relations (CR) function of this FTSE 100 business.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within the regulatory framework of Pharma/Consumer Healthcare industries, whilst exhibiting both passion for, and relevant experience of, implementing a global, omnichannel CR transformation

Reporting directly to the CR Director - Health, the Programme Manager will effectively co-ordinate day to day business activities to ensure that the programme is compliant, runs to a high standard consistently & is delivered both on time and on budget. This person will work well in a fast-paced environment alongside global & cross-functional teams of stakeholders at all levels of the organisation

Key Responsibilities:
  • Together with the CR director & project team - plan & design the program, with clear objectives and key milestones
  • Manage and co-ordinate programme streams required to specify, design build, integrate, test and activate new technologies, processes and workflows
  • Proactively engage with a diverse set of stakeholders to continuously monitor progress, resolve issues, escalate risks & implement corrective actions
  • Work with the CR Director to manage the program budget, monitoring expenditure against deliverables for the duration of the programme
  • Responsible for identifying, communicating & monitoring the key milestones dependencies & critical path for the project activities
  • Drive design and delivery of global Organisational Change Management activities required to enable a success adoption of new processes, technologies and people capabiities
  • Define responsibilities and deadlines for testing/cut-over tasks - including preparation of test scripts for UAT
  • Develop and manage a cut-over plan for each wave in the project to ensure smooth go-live at each stage with minimal disruption. Ensure a smooth handover to the business after each go-live
  • Co-ordinate the activities of cross-functional teams to ensure that the solution delivered is fit for purpose, compliant and that all appropriate Vigilance requirements are fully met
  • Establish strong working relationships with all key functional stakeholders to ensure that the interests of each are represented and considered in the program design
  • The transformation programme seeks to drive a change to the way the business approaches Consumer Relations so an innovative approach to challenges and the ability to influence stakeholders are key

Skills & Experience required:
  • 5+ years of project/programme management experience
  • Experience in end-to-end management of complex, multi-functional projects, preferably on a global scale
  • Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities
  • Prior experience working in the pharma/consumer healthcare industries is mandatory
  • An understanding of Consumer Relations teams & processes is preferable but not essential
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation. Demonstrated negotiation skills
  • Able to build strong relationships with and influence a cross-functional team of stakeholders
  • Business Change Management skills to ensure new systems and processes are fully embedded
  • Results oriented & a 'how not if' approach to challenges
