The MD has been in financial services for over 30 years. He has twice won the award for 'IFA of the Year' and also trains other financial advisers all around the world through keynote speeches and his Adviser Master Class program.

We also provide advice on Wills and Trusts, and Estate Planning dovetails very nicely with our wealth management strategies for affluent individuals.

The role of the Client Services Manager is to maintain a predictable practice environment by serving as operations "mission control".

Main Responsibilities of the Role

• Supporting advisers with research and analysis to meet client needs and objectives. o This may involve the use of internal IT research tools, external third-party tools and liaison with third parties (usually product providers, as appropriate)

• Preparing technical reports and client advice documents, including financial advice reports and suitability letters

• Preparing cashflow projections using relevant software

• Preparing spreadsheets to aid presentations

• Participate in client meetings to take notes and follow up

• Supporting other administrators in the implementation of new business.

• Ensure that any business conducted is done in a responsible and compliant manner, meeting all legislative requirements, both internally and externally.

• Reading, digesting and implementing any relevant compliance updates and integrating changes to procedures, as required.

• Delivering agreed project activities as designated by the Managing Director or other members of the team

•Preparing quarterly client portfolio performance reports

•• Developing and maintaining internal relationships to help maintain business flow and agreed targets.

•• Providing assistance in promoting the profile of the business within the profession and wider communities.

•• Continuous professional development to meet personal development needs, where appropriate

•• Providing assistance and support to the Managing Director and other members of the team in the provision of designated marketing activities.

•• Managing and arranging client appointments, when required

•• Organising meetings, ensuring that advisers are fully briefed on each meeting in advance.

•• Assisting with incoming telephone communications.

•• Recording client data onto appropriate business systems and files.

•• Prioritise Individual workflow and efficient task delivery.

•• Assist with events and seminar campaigns as required.

The role holder may from time to time be required to undertake reasonable additional or other duties as is necessary to meet to the needs of the business. In addition, occasional travel may be required however all business travel expenses are met by the firm.

Skills and qualifications required

•• Ideally a graduate or with relevant financial services qualifications, attained or continuing to study

•• Experience of working in a high pressure 9in terms of workload and deadlines) financial advisory business

•• Highly literate and numerate

•• Able to use Excel and Word very well

•• Experience of other financial advisory software, including quotation systems, fund research tools, pension transfer tools and cashflow planning

•• A willingness to be challenged and constantly learn new ideas

•• Must be capable of demonstrating initiative and taking responsibility for decisions
