Based in the centre of Preston we are a multi award winning leisure, travel and tourism company, looking to appoint an exceptional 3rd Line Team Manager with excellent Windows Server / MCSA / ITIL / Cisco / Network / Linux / VMware knowledge to join our company and lead one of many dynamic teams. Well established within the market, we pride ourselves on providing the very best tailored bespoke experiences for our customers and contribute this to our continued growth within the market.

We are growing rapidly, with locations dotted all over the United Kingdom with our parent company holding sites all over the world. The team seamlessly work together to tools and digital facilities to our sales teams to deliver the fastest, easiest and most cost-efficient products to our customers. We are therefore looking for a 3rd Line Team Manager to further optimise this process, with the skills; Windows Server / MCSA / ITIL / Cisco / Network / Linux / VMware as early as possible.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

As a 3rd Line Team Manager we are looking for you to lead a team of engineers to indirectly provide a high level of service for our customers. In this role you will help ensure the smooth running of our production environment which operates 24/7. Ensuring that the appropriate knowledge is shared throughout the relevant teams to ensure we improve our first-time fix. In addition to this you will provide the support required for our clients to deliver our services (internal and external) and ensure that service levels are achieved and maintained, supporting the Service Desk Manager to provide on-call cover on a rota basis. We are looking for a Team Manager that not only meets targets but a Team Manager that has the drive to exceed expectations regarding performance, benchmarks and standards within the confines of the appropriate standards and processes expected from a superb customer services department.

YOU NEED TO HAVE...
  • Technical knowledge of Windows Server / MCSA / ITIL / Cisco / Network / Linux / VMware
  • Ability to design and document technical solutions
  • Have previously worked in a Service Desk environment

ITS NICE TO HAVE....
  • An understanding of Printing technologies
  • Basic troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
  • the ability to articulate IT issues to non-IT people
