Solutions Manager/Product Manager - Retail Services

This is a Global Role responsible for the services portfolio across the Services division - you will look at sales enablement, marketing, product service, product design, delivery and full launch to market - Lovely opportunity to be involved where investments are taking place - Very Exciting!

Primary Responsibilities

The Product and Solutions Manager is responsible for identifying, developing and managing new product enhancement opportunities for this Global Solutions and Service Provider.

The Product and Solutions Manager collaborates with associates from all operational areas to manage all the steps of the product management lifecycle, this involves:-
  • Research, analysis, strategy, planning, process design, go-to-market planning
  • A strong capability in technical product management and in solutioning new market offerings and enhancements is required
  • Knowledge and exposure to a range of retail technology infrastructure including point of sale, self-checkout devices, cash automation and handheld/mobile devices
  • Product management experience essential
  • Defining services and ensuring that they can be effectively deployed
  • Ability to work with and engage with senior stakeholders

The Solutions manager owns the business requirements, prioritisation and delivery of initiatives on the specific product, ensuring it meets overall business objectives. This person will evaluate and tests solutions provided by us to us our customers

This person will ensure the organisation and marketing activities are ready to support new product features and launches. This person will share challenges and provide solutions to improve processes, documentation and communication across the products and across the organization to better meet specific needs.

Skills Required:
  • Numerate and strong commercial acumen including business case development
  • Product management experience
  • Experience of creating product strategy and plans
  • Experience of contracts, T&C's and pricing
  • Ability to engage with and influence key stakeholders
  • Ability to work at a detailed level of technical definition and, at the same time be able to produce effective business level documentation
  • Maintain and enhance offerings to the market
