Location: The Grange, Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham

About this role:

Join an award-winning team, tackling a range of customer queries relating to Life and Pensions products. Collaborate with other areas of the business to provide support and solutions for all their policy needs.

Are you passionate about helping people, have a talent for talking and an ability to multi-task? To join us, you'll also need to be confident, articulate and learn a variety of systems to a high level of competence, whilst achieving our call handling targets.

What you will do:
  • Represent the company as the first-point-of-contact for customers and financial advisors in our busy contact centre.
  • Combine your experience with guided procedures to help customers with their queries. These can range from arranging a plan valuation or change of personal details to providing complex trust or technical policy information
  • We want you to go the 'extra mile' with our customers, to be polite, professional and enthusiastic
  • Be able to clearly explain complex technical information in an understandable way
  • Integrate well within your team, from working relationships and be a positive influence with customers and colleagues

Your experience will include:
  • GCSEs, including Maths and English Grade C/Grade 4 or above
  • A confident and articulate telephone manner
  • A proven record in customer services
  • Team player
  • To be computer-literate and confident, including experience using Microsoft Office programs
  • The ability to listen and accurately record information
